Jeffery Philip Paul currently services primarily the Lancaster County area, as well as the Schuylkill County area, with a satellite office in Pottsville. Since entering private practice in 1985, he has concentrated in the areas of civil litigation and domestic relations.
He has over 50 years' trial experience and has tried numerous civil jury trials, and hundreds of other civil matters, including divorce, custody support, workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation, and other civil non-jury matters. He has also written many appellate and lower court briefs and argued numerous matters before the Superior Court, Commonwealth Court, and Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
Approximately 60% of his practice is in the area of civil litigation, and the balance of his practice deals primarily with family law, including divorce, custody, support, and adoption. Additionally, since entering private practice, he has taught dozens of courses on behalf of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Pennsylvania Defense Institute, the Lancaster Bar Association, and various other legal organizations. His responsibilities as an instructor increased with the advent of the rule requiring attorneys in Pennsylvania to attend ethics courses, and he has been a regular contributor to the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s seminars on legal ethics.
He regularly attends continuing legal education seminars, as well, primarily in the areas of civil litigation and domestic relations law.
